"A moment in his anger; a lifetime in his favor..." (Ps. 30:6). YHWH's loyalty to David is stronger than sin and death.  +
"Victory is YHWH's!" (Ps 3:9a; cf. Jonah 2:10).  +
"YHWH is righteous" (v. 7a).  +
A sufferer cannot save themself; YHWH is the only one who can answer.  +

God cares about how we treat each other, and his people will love their neighbours.  +
God cleanses the contrite from sin and gives them new hearts to offer worship that is pleasing to God in Zion.  +
God is the only dependable source of victory.  +
God's chosen king and his descendants rule forever with wisdom, righteousness, and joy.  +
God’s city can never be overthrown.  +
I lack nothing and fear nothing because YHWH is with me!  +
In a covenant relationship, blessing is reciprocal.  +
In order to be blameless and acceptable, YHWH's people need both his instruction and his redemption.  +
In the end, it's those who follow YHWH's instruction who will flourish.  +
