v. 17 – The finite παρεπίκραναν τὸν ὕψιστον ἐν ἀνύδρῳ "they provoked the Most High in the waterless place" for the MT's infinitive לַֽמְר֥וֹת "to rebel" is likely stylistic, as there is no Hebrew manuscript evidence for the finite מָרוּ.
