שִׁ֥יר מִזְמ֗וֹר לִבְנֵ֫י קֹ֥רַח

A psalm. sons of Korah.
לַ עַל־ עַנּ֑וֹת

For the director. About illness, for self-affliction.
מַ֝שְׂכִּ֗יל הֵימָ֥ן הָאֶזְרָחִֽי׃

By the
יְ֭הוָה יְשׁוּעָתִ֑י
 2a
YHWH, of my salvation,
צָעַ֖קְתִּי בַלַּ֣יְלָה נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃
 2b
I have been crying out day night before you.
לְ֭פָנֶיךָ תְּפִלָּתִ֑י
 3a
my prayer favor with you!
הַטֵּֽה־ךָ֗ לְרִנָּתִֽי׃
 3b
Incline to my cry!
כִּֽי־שָֽׂבְעָ֣ה בְרָע֣וֹת נַפְשִׁ֑י
 4a
For am troubles,
וְ לִשְׁא֥וֹל הִגִּֽיעוּ׃
 4b
And has reached
נֶ֭חְשַׁבְתִּי עִם־ ב֑וֹר
 5a
I am counted those go down to the Pit.
אֱיָֽל׃
 5b
become like a who has
בַּמֵּתִ֗ים חָ֫פְשִׁ֥י
 6a
[I am] an among dead,
כְּמ֤וֹ חֲלָלִ֨ים ׀ קֶ֗בֶר
 6b
like the slain ones who are lying the tomb,
אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹ֣א ע֑וֹד
 6c
whom you not
וְ֝ מִיָּדְךָ֥ נִגְזָֽרוּ׃
 6d
and [who] been off from your care.
שַׁ֭תַּנִי בְּב֣וֹר
 7a
You put me the lowest
בְּ֝ מַחֲשַׁכִּ֗ים בִּ
 7b
places, in watery depths.
עָ֭לַי סָמְכָ֣ה חֲמָתֶ֑ךָ
 8a
outbursts of wrath have been lying heavily on
וְכָל־מִ֝שְׁבָּרֶ֗יךָ עִנִּ֥יתָ סֶּֽלָה׃
 8b
you have been afflicting me all your Selah.
הִרְחַ֥קְתָּ מְיֻדָּעַ֗י
 9a
you my acquaintances to shun me.
שַׁתַּ֣ תוֹעֵב֣וֹת לָ֑
 9b
You made me repulsive to them.
וְלֹ֣א אֵצֵֽא׃
 9c
[You have me] shut in, so I get
עֵינִ֥י דָאֲבָ֗ה מִנִּ֫י עֹ֥נִי
 10a
My have languished misery.
קְרָאתִ֣יךָ יְהוָ֣ה בְּי֑וֹם
 10b
I have been calling to you, YHWH, every day.
שִׁטַּ֖חְתִּי אֵלֶ֣י י׃
 10c
I have spreading out my hands you.
הֲלַמֵּתִ֥ים פֶּ֑לֶא
 11a
Do you perform wonders for dead?
אִם־ יָק֤וּמוּ ׀ יוֹד֬וּךָ סֶּֽלָה׃
 11b
Do the departed spirits rise up to you? Selah.
הַיְסֻפַּ֣ר קֶּ֣בֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ
 12a
Is faithful recounted in the tomb?
אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗ בָּאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃
 12b
[Is] your faithfulness [recounted] the place of destruction?
הֲיִוָּדַ֣ע חֹ֣שֶׁךְ פִּלְאֶ֑ךָ
 13a
Can your be in dark region?
וְ֝צִדְקָתְךָ֗ אֶ֣רֶץ נְשִׁיָּֽה׃
 13b
[can] your righteousness [be known] in the land of oblivion?
וַאֲנִ֤י אֵלֶ֣י יְהוָ֣ה שִׁוַּ֑עְתִּי
 14a
have been crying to for help, YHWH,
בַבֹּ֗קֶר תְּֽפִלָּתִ֥י ךָּ׃
 14b
my will keep welcoming you morning.
לָמָ֣ה תִּזְנַ֣ח נַפְשִׁ֑י
 15a
Why, YHWH, do you keep
תַּסְתִּ֖יר פָּנֶ֣יךָ
 15b
do you hiding your face from me?
עָ֘נִ֤י גֹוֵ֣עַ מִ
 16a
I [have afflicted and death [my] youth,
נָשָׂ֖אתִי אֵמֶ֣יךָ *אֶפּוֹרָה*׃
 16b
I’ve been suffering your terrifying assaults, torn apart.
עָ֭לַי עָבְר֣וּ חֲרוֹנֶ֑יךָ
 17a
been over me;
בִּ֝עוּתֶ֗יךָ *צִמְּתוּ
 17b
Your terrifying assaults have been destroying
סַבּ֣וּ כַ֭מַּיִם כָּל־
 18a
They have surrounding me like
הִקִּ֖יפוּ עָלַ֣י יָֽחַד׃
 18b
They have been closing in on me together.
הִרְחַ֣קְתָּ נִּי אֹהֵ֣ב רֵ֑עַ
 19a
You have caused all my companions to shun me;
מְֽיֻדָּעַ֥ *מֵחֹשֶׁךְ*׃
 19b
You have my acquaintances to shun my distress.
