For the MT's משגב־לנו ("a fortress for us") in vv. 8, and 12, the LXX has ἀντιλήμπτωρ ἡμῶν, "our helper" or "supporter" (NETS; cf. Pesh. has ܘܡܥܕܪܢܢ/"and our helper"[1]), perhaps harmonizing the refrain, conceptually, with v. 2 (cf. Ps 118:7).
