v. 5 – The revocalization of עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַי "concerning my sin" to עָלַי פְ֭שָׁעַי "against me my sin" reflects the LXX's κατʼ ἐμοῦ τὴν ἀνομίαν μου,[1] which results in פְ֭שָׁעַי being read as the direct object: "I will declare to the Lord, against myself, my lawlessness," NETS).

  1. Cf. Aquila's ἐπ᾽ἐμοί ἀθεσίαν μου lit. "upon me my faithlessness."
