v. 8 – The בְּ in יַפְטִ֥ירוּ בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה should be understood as instrumental.[1] See the similar formulation cf. פָּעֲרוּ עָלַי בְּפִיהֶם in Job 16:10; "Men have gaped at me with their mouth," ESV), as discussed in the lexical notes.
