Psalm 2/Notes/Lexical.v. 12.807384
From Psalms: Layer by Layer
Interestingly, the verb translated "become angry" in v. 12 is "almost exclusively used with God as the subject."[1] Psalm 2:12 is the only exception. The human king, as YHWH's image and son (vv. 6-7) has divine characteristics (cf. Pss 110, 111-112).
