| שָֽׁמְרֵ֥נִי אֵ֝֗ל | 1.2 | Protect me, God, |
| כִּֽי־חָסִ֥יתִי בָֽךְ׃ | 1.3 | because I have taken refuge in you. |
| *אָמַ֣רְתִּ* לַֽ֭יהוָה | 2.1 | I have said to YHWH, |
| אֲדֹנָ֣י אָ֑תָּה ט֝וֹבָתִ֗י | 2.2 | "You are my Lord, my good; |
| בַּל־עָלֶֽיךָ׃ | 2.3 | there is no one above you. |
| לִ֭קְדוֹשִׁים אֲשֶׁר־בָּאָ֣רֶץ הֵ֑מָּה וְ֝אַדִּירֵ֗י כָּל־חֶפְצִי־בָֽם׃ | 3.1 | They are on the side of the holy ones who are in the earth, the "all-my-pleasure-is-in-them" mighty ones. |
| יִרְבּ֥וּ עַצְּבוֹתָם֮ | 4.1 | Their idols increase; |
| אַחֵ֪ר מָ֫הָ֥רוּ | 4.2 | they have acquired another. |
| בַּל־אַסִּ֣יךְ נִסְכֵּיהֶ֣ם מִדָּ֑ם | 4.3 | I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood, |
| וּֽבַל־אֶשָּׂ֥א אֶת־שְׁ֝מוֹתָ֗ם עַל־שְׂפָתָֽי׃ | 4.4 | and I will not utter their names with my lips. |
| יְֽהוָ֗ה מְנָת־חֶלְקִ֥י וְכוֹסִ֑י | 5.1 | YHWH is the portion I possess and my cup. |
| אַ֝תָּ֗ה תּוֹמִ֥יךְ גּוֹרָלִֽי׃ | 5.2 | You are holding my lot. |
| חֲבָלִ֣ים נָֽפְלוּ־לִ֭י בַּנְּעִמִ֑ים | 6.1 | Property lines have fallen for me in the most delightful places. |
| אַף־*נַ֝חֲלָ֗תִ* שָֽׁפְרָ֥ה עָלָֽי׃ | 6.2 | Yes, my inheritance is beautiful to me. |
| אֲבָרֵ֗ךְ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה | 7.1 | I will bless YHWH, |
| אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְעָצָ֑נִי | 7.2 | who has advised me. |
| אַף־לֵ֝יל֗וֹת יִסְּר֥וּנִי כִלְיוֹתָֽי׃ | 7.3 | Yes, throughout the night, my kidneys instructed me. |
| שִׁוִּ֬יתִי יְהוָ֣ה לְנֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִ֑יד | 8.1 | I have placed YHWH before me always; |
| כִּ֥י מִֽ֝ימִינִ֗י | 8.2 | because he is at my right side, |
| בַּל־אֶמּֽוֹט׃ | 8.3 | I will not be shaken. |
| לָכֵ֤ן ׀ שָׂמַ֣ח לִ֭בִּי | 9.1 | Therefore, my heart rejoices, |
| וַיָּ֣גֶל *כְּבֵדִ֑י* | 9.2 | and my liver is glad. |
| אַף־בְּ֝שָׂרִ֗י יִשְׁכֹּ֥ן לָבֶֽטַח׃ | 9.3 | What's more, my body will dwell securely. |
| כִּ֤י ׀ לֹא־תַעֲזֹ֣ב נַפְשִׁ֣י לִשְׁא֑וֹל | 10.1 | For you will not abandon my life to Sheol; |
| לֹֽא־תִתֵּ֥ן חֲ֝סִידְךָ֗ לִרְא֥וֹת שָֽׁחַת׃ | 10.2 | you will not let your loyal one experience decay. |
| תּֽוֹדִיעֵנִי֮ אֹ֤רַח חַ֫יִּ֥ים שֹׂ֣בַע שְׂ֭מָחוֹת אֶת־פָּנֶ֑יךָ נְעִמ֖וֹת בִּימִינְךָ֣ נֶֽצַח׃ | 11.1 | You will show me the way to life – fullness of joy in your presence, delights in your right hand – forever. |
