  • The Masoretic Text vocalizes אמרת as a second-person feminine singular verb: "you say" (אָמַרְתְּ). But most translations, ancient and modern, agree that it should instead be vocalized as a first-person singular verb: "I say" (אָמַרתִּ). See The Text and Grammar of Psalm16:2.
