v. 2c – The final word, מִדּוֹתָֽיו, is apparently derived from a unique feminine by-form (מִדָּה?) of the more common מַד. For this reason, both 11Q5 and 11Q6, the earliest textual attestations of the psalm, read מדיו. Since the unique form has been preserved in the Masoretic tradition, however, it has been preferred here, with the same sense of "garments," in any case.[1]
