אַשְׁרֵ֥י תְמִֽימֵי־דָ֑רֶךְ הַֽ֝הֹלְכִ֗ים בְּתוֹרַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃	1	The happiness of those blameless in their way, of those walking in the teaching of YHWH!
אַ֭שְׁרֵי נֹצְרֵ֥י עֵדֹתָ֗יו	2a	The happiness of those keeping his testimonies!
בְּכָל־לֵ֥ב יִדְרְשֽׁוּהוּ׃	2b	They seek him with a whole heart.
אַ֭ף לֹֽא־פָעֲל֣וּ עַוְלָ֑ה	3a	Also, they have not done injustice.
בִּדְרָכָ֥יו הָלָֽכוּ׃	3b	They have walked in his ways.
אַ֭תָּה צִוִּ֥יתָה פִקֻּדֶ֗יךָ	4a	You have commanded your precepts,
לִשְׁמֹ֥ר מְאֹֽד׃	4b	so that people fully keep them.
אַ֭חֲלַי יִכֹּ֥נוּ דְרָכָ֗י	5a	I pray that my ways might be committed
לִשְׁמֹ֥ר חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	5b	so that I keep your purposes.
אָ֥ז לֹא־אֵב֑וֹשׁ	6a	Then I will not be ashamed
בְּ֝הַבִּיטִ֗י אֶל־כָּל־מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	6b	when I consider all of your commands.
א֭וֹדְךָ בְּיֹ֣שֶׁר לֵבָ֑ב	7a	I will praise you with a sincere heart
בְּ֝לָמְדִ֗י מִשְׁפְּטֵ֥י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	7b	when I learn your righteous rules.
אֶת־חֻקֶּ֥יךָ אֶשְׁמֹ֑ר	8a	I will keep your purposes.
אַֽל־תַּעַזְבֵ֥נִי עַד־מְאֹֽד׃	8b	Do not forsake me at all!
בַּמֶּ֣ה יְזַכֶּה־נַּ֭עַר אֶת־אָרְח֑וֹ	9a	How will a young man keep his way pure?
לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	9b	By keeping it according to your words.
בְּכָל־לִבִּ֥י דְרַשְׁתִּ֑יךָ	10a	I have sought you with all my heart.
אַל־תַּ֝שְׁגֵּ֗נִי מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	10b	Do not let me stray from your commands!
בְּ֭לִבִּי צָפַ֣נְתִּי אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	11a	I have treasured your promise in my heart,
לְ֝מַ֗עַן לֹ֣א אֶֽחֱטָא־לָֽךְ׃	11b	so that I might not sin against you.
בָּר֖וּךְ אַתָּ֥ה יְהוָ֗ה	12a	You are blessed, YHWH.
לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	12b	Teach me your purposes.
בִּשְׂפָתַ֥י סִפַּ֑רְתִּי כֹּ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִֽיךָ׃	13	With my lips I have proclaimed all the rules that come from your mouth.
בְּדֶ֖רֶךְ עֵדְוֺתֶ֥יךָ שַׂ֗שְׂתִּי כְּעַ֣ל כָּל־הֽוֹן׃	14	I rejoice in the way of your testimonies as one rejoicing over all wealth!
בְּפִקֻּדֶ֥יךָ אָשִׂ֑יחָה	15a	Let me meditate on your precepts
וְ֝אַבִּ֗יטָה אֹרְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃	15b	and let me consider your ways.
בְּחֻקֹּתֶ֥יךָ אֶֽשְׁתַּעֲשָׁ֑ע	16a	I will delight in your purposes.
לֹ֭א אֶשְׁכַּ֣ח דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃	16b	I will not forget your words.
גְּמֹ֖ל עַֽל־עַבְדְּךָ֥	17a	Deal fairly with your servant,
אֶֽחְיֶ֗ה	17b	so that I will live
וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֥ה דְבָרֶֽךָ׃	17c	and I will keep your words.
גַּל־עֵינַ֥י	18a	Open my eyes,
וְאַבִּ֑יטָה נִ֝פְלָא֗וֹת מִתּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	18b	so that I will see wonderful things from your teaching.
גֵּ֣ר אָנֹכִ֣י בָאָ֑רֶץ	19a	I am a sojourner in the land.
אַל־תַּסְתֵּ֥ר מִ֝מֶּ֗נִּי מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	19b	Do not hide your commands from me.
גָּרְסָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֣י לְתַאֲבָ֑ה אֶֽל־מִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ בְכָל־עֵֽת׃	20	My soul is consumed with longing for your judgments all the time.
גָּ֭עַרְתָּ זֵדִ֣ים אֲרוּרִ֑ים הַ֝שֹּׁגִים מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	21	You have rebuked the arrogant people, cursed ones, those who abandon your commands.
*גֹּל* מֵֽ֭עָלַי חֶרְפָּ֣ה וָב֑וּז	22a	Take insult and contempt away from me,
כִּ֖י עֵדֹתֶ֣יךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃	22b	because I have kept your testimonies.
גַּ֤ם יָֽשְׁב֣וּ שָׂ֭רִים	23a	Also, leaders have been sitting
בִּ֣י נִדְבָּ֑רוּ	23b	and speaking together against me.
עַ֝בְדְּךָ֗ יָשִׂ֥יחַ בְּחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	23c	Your servant meditates on your purposes.
גַּֽם־עֵ֭דֹתֶיךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָ֗י אַנְשֵׁ֥י עֲצָתִֽי׃	24	Indeed, your testimonies are my delight, my advisers.
דָּֽבְקָ֣ה לֶעָפָ֣ר נַפְשִׁ֑י	25a	My life sticks to the dust.
חַ֝יֵּ֗נִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	25b	Keep me alive according to your promise!
דְּרָכַ֣י סִ֭פַּרְתִּי	26a	I declared my ways
וַֽתַּעֲנֵ֗נִי	26b	and you answered me.
לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	26c	Teach me your purposes.
דֶּֽרֶךְ־פִּקּוּדֶ֥יךָ הֲבִינֵ֑נִי	27a	Give me understanding of the way of your precepts,
וְ֝אָשִׂ֗יחָה בְּנִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃	27b	so that I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.
דָּלְפָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי מִתּוּגָ֑ה	28a	I weep from grief.
קַ֝יְּמֵ֗נִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	28b	Lift me up according to your promise.
דֶּֽרֶךְ־שֶׁ֭קֶר הָסֵ֣ר מִמֶּ֑נִּי	29a	Remove any disloyal ways from me
וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ֥ חָנֵּֽנִי׃	29b	and be gracious to me with your teaching.
דֶּֽרֶךְ־אֱמוּנָ֥ה בָחָ֑רְתִּי	30a	I have chosen a faithful way.
מִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ שִׁוִּֽיתִי׃	30b	I have set your rules before me.
דָּבַ֥קְתִּי בְעֵֽדְוֺתֶ֑יךָ	31a	I cling to your testimonies.
יְ֝הוָ֗ה אַל־תְּבִישֵֽׁנִי׃	31b	YHWH, do not let me be shamed.
דֶּֽרֶךְ־מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אָר֑וּץ	32a	I run along the path of your commands,
כִּ֖י תַרְחִ֣יב לִבִּֽי׃	32b	because you broaden my understanding.
הוֹרֵ֣נִי יְ֭הוָה דֶּ֥רֶךְ חֻקֶּ֗יךָ	33a	Teach me, YHWH, the way of your purposes,
וְאֶצְּרֶ֥נָּה עֵֽקֶב׃	33b	so that I will keep it to the end.
הֲ֭בִינֵנִי	34a	Give me understanding
וְאֶצְּרָ֥ה תֽוֹרָתֶ֗ךָ	34b	so that I will keep your teaching
וְאֶשְׁמְרֶ֥נָּה בְכָל־לֵֽב׃	34c	and I will observe it with a whole heart.
הַ֭דְרִיכֵנִי בִּנְתִ֣יב מִצְוֺתֶ֑יךָ	35a	Guide me in the path of your commands,
כִּי־ב֥וֹ חָפָֽצְתִּי׃	35b	for I delight in it.
הַט־לִ֭בִּי אֶל־עֵדְוֺתֶ֗יךָ	36a	Turn my heart to your testimonies
וְאַ֣ל אֶל־בָּֽצַע׃	36b	and not to unjust gain.
הַעֲבֵ֣ר עֵ֭ינַי	37a	Turn my eyes away
מֵרְא֣וֹת שָׁ֑וְא	37b	from seeing futile things.
*כִּדְבָרְךָ* חַיֵּֽנִי׃	37c	Keep me alive according to your word.
הָקֵ֣ם לְ֭עַבְדְּךָ אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	38a	Fulfill for your servant your promise,
אֲ֝שֶׁ֗ר לְיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃	38b	which is designed for the fear of you.
הַעֲבֵ֣ר חֶ֭רְפָּתִי	39a	Turn away insults directed towards me,
אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָגֹ֑רְתִּי	39b	which I fear,
כִּ֖י מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ טוֹבִֽים׃	39c	because your judgments are good.
הִ֭נֵּה תָּאַ֣בְתִּי לְפִקֻּדֶ֑יךָ	40a	Look, I long for your precepts.
בְּצִדְקָתְךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	40b	Keep me alive by your justice.
וִֽיבֹאֻ֣נִי חֲסָדֶ֣ךָ יְהוָ֑ה	41a	Now, let your loyal acts come to me, YHWH;
תְּ֝שֽׁוּעָתְךָ֗ כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃	41b	[let] your salvation [come to me] according to your promise,
וְאֶֽעֱנֶ֣ה חֹרְפִ֣י דָבָ֑ר	42a	so that I will answer a word to those insulting me,
כִּֽי־בָ֝טַחְתִּי בִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	42b	because I trust in your words.
וְֽאַל־תַּצֵּ֬ל מִפִּ֣י דְבַר־אֱמֶ֣ת עַד־מְאֹ֑ד	43a	And do not take true words out of my mouth at all,
כִּ֖י לְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣ךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	43b	– because I hope in your judgments –
וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֖ה תוֹרָתְךָ֥ תָמִ֗יד לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃	44	so that I will keep your teaching always, forever and ever,
וְאֶתְהַלְּכָ֥ה בָרְחָבָ֑ה	45a	so that I will live at ease
כִּ֖י פִקֻּדֶ֣יךָ דָרָֽשְׁתִּי׃	45b	– because I care about your precepts –
וַאֲדַבְּרָ֣ה בְ֭עֵדֹתֶיךָ נֶ֥גֶד מְלָכִ֗ים	46a	so that I will speak about your testimonies before kings
וְלֹ֣א אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃	46b	and I will not be ashamed,
וְאֶשְׁתַּֽעֲשַׁ֥ע בְּמִצְוֺתֶ֗יךָ	47a	so that I will delight in your commands,
אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָהָֽבְתִּי׃	47b	which I love,
וְאֶשָּֽׂא־כַפַּ֗י אֶֽל־מִ֭צְוֺתֶיךָ	48a	so that I will lift my hands to your commands,
אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָהָ֗בְתִּי	48b	which I love,
וְאָשִׂ֥יחָה בְחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	48c	and I will meditate on your purposes.
זְכֹר־דָּבָ֥ר לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ	49a	Remember the promise for your servant
עַ֝֗ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִֽחַלְתָּֽנִי׃	49b	in which you have caused me to hope.
זֹ֣את נֶחָמָתִ֣י בְעָנְיִ֑י	50a	This is my consolation in my suffering:
כִּ֖י אִמְרָתְךָ֣ חִיָּֽתְנִי׃	50b	that your word has kept me alive.
זֵ֭דִים הֱלִיצֻ֣נִי עַד־מְאֹ֑ד	51a	Arrogant people have completely derided me.
מִ֝תּֽוֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א נָטִֽיתִי׃	51b	I have not turned from your teaching.
זָ֘כַ֤רְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶ֖יךָ מֵעוֹלָ֥ם ׀ יְהוָ֗ה	52a	I remember your decisions,
מֵעוֹלָ֥ם ׀ יְהוָ֗ה	52b	which are from eternity, YHWH
וָֽאֶתְנֶחָֽם׃	52c	and I am comforted.
זַלְעָפָ֣ה אֲ֭חָזַתְנִי מֵרְשָׁעִ֑ים עֹ֝זְבֵ֗י תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	53	Rage has seized me because of wicked people, those who reject your teaching.
זְ֭מִרוֹת הָֽיוּ־לִ֥י חֻקֶּ֗יךָ בְּבֵ֣ית מְגוּרָֽי׃	54	Your decrees have become my songs during my sojourning.
זָ֘כַ֤רְתִּי בַלַּ֣יְלָה שִׁמְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה	55a	I remember your name in the night, YHWH,
וָֽ֝אֶשְׁמְרָ֗ה תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	55b	and I keep your teaching.
זֹ֥את הָֽיְתָה־לִּ֑י	56a	This has become mine:
כִּ֖י פִקֻּדֶ֣יךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃	56b	that I have kept your precepts.
חֶלְקִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה	57a	My lot is YHWH.
אָמַ֗רְתִּי	57b	I commit
לִשְׁמֹ֥ר דְּבָרֶֽיךָ׃	57c	to keeping your words.
חִלִּ֣יתִי פָנֶ֣יךָ בְכָל־לֵ֑ב	58a	I have entreated your favor with a whole heart.
חָ֝נֵּ֗נִי כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃	58b	Be gracious to me according to your promise!
חִשַּׁ֥בְתִּי דְרָכָ֑י	59a	I considered my ways
וָאָשִׁ֥יבָה רַ֝גְלַ֗י אֶל־עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	59b	and turned my feet to your testimonies.
חַ֭שְׁתִּי	60a	I hurried
וְלֹ֣א הִתְמַהְמָ֑הְתִּי	60b	and did not delay
לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	60c	in keeping your commands.
חֶבְלֵ֣י רְשָׁעִ֣ים עִוְּדֻ֑נִי	61a	The ropes of traps laid by wicked people have surrounded me.
תּֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	61b	I have not forgotten your teaching.
חֲצֽוֹת־לַ֗יְלָה אָ֭קוּם	62a	I get up at midnight
לְהוֹד֣וֹת לָ֑ךְ עַ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵ֥י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	62b	to praise you for your just rules.
חָבֵ֣ר אָ֭נִי לְכָל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְרֵא֑וּךָ וּ֝לְשֹׁמְרֵ֗י פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	63	I am a friend to all who fear you and to those who keep your precepts.
חַסְדְּךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה מָלְאָ֥ה הָאָ֗רֶץ	64a	YHWH, the earth is full of your faithfulness.
חֻקֶּ֥יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	64b	Teach me your purposes.
ט֭וֹב עָשִׂ֣יתָ עִֽם־עַבְדְּךָ֑ יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	65	You have done good to your servant, YHWH, according to your promise.
ט֤וּב טַ֣עַם וָדַ֣עַת לַמְּדֵ֑נִי	66a	Teach me goodness, that is, discernment and knowledge,
כִּ֖י בְמִצְוֺתֶ֣יךָ הֶאֱמָֽנְתִּי׃	66b	because I believe in your commands.
טֶ֣רֶם אֶ֭עֱנֶה	67a	Before I was afflicted,
אֲנִ֣י שֹׁגֵ֑ג	67b	I was going astray,
וְ֝עַתָּ֗ה אִמְרָתְךָ֥ שָׁמָֽרְתִּי׃	67c	but now I have kept your word.
טוֹב־אַתָּ֥ה	68a	You are good
וּמֵטִ֗יב	68b	and you are one who does good.
לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	68c	Teach me your purposes.
טָפְל֬וּ עָלַ֣י שֶׁ֣קֶר זֵדִ֑ים	69a	Arrogant people have covered me in lies.
אֲ֝נִ֗י בְּכָל־לֵ֤ב ׀ אֱצֹּ֬ר פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	69b	I keep your precepts with a whole heart.
טָפַ֣שׁ כַּחֵ֣לֶב לִבָּ֑ם	70a	Their heart is insensitive like animal fat.
אֲ֝נִ֗י תּוֹרָתְךָ֥ שִֽׁעֲשָֽׁעְתִּי׃	70b	I delight in your teaching.
טֽוֹב־לִ֥י	71a	It was good for me
כִֽי־עֻנֵּ֑יתִי	71b	that I was afflicted,
לְ֝מַ֗עַן אֶלְמַ֥ד חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	71c	so that I would learn your purposes.
טֽוֹב־לִ֥י תֽוֹרַת־פִּ֑יךָ מֵ֝אַלְפֵ֗י זָהָ֥ב וָכָֽסֶף׃	72	The teaching which proceeds from your mouth is better for me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
יָדֶ֣יךָ עָ֭שׂוּנִי וַֽיְכוֹנְנ֑וּנִי	73a	Your hands made me and established me.
הֲ֝בִינֵ֗נִי	73b	Give me understanding,
וְאֶלְמְדָ֥ה מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	73c	so that I will learn your commands.
יְרֵאֶ֣יךָ יִרְא֣וּנִי וְיִשְׂמָ֑חוּ	74a	Those who fear you will see me and rejoice,
כִּ֖י לִדְבָרְךָ֥ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	74b	because I hoped in your word.
יָ֭דַעְתִּי יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־צֶ֣דֶק מִשְׁפָּטֶ֑יךָ	75a	I know, YHWH, that your judgments are just,
וֶ֝אֱמוּנָ֗ה עִנִּיתָֽנִי׃	75b	and with faithfulness you have afflicted me.
יְֽהִי־נָ֣א חַסְדְּךָ֣ לְנַחֲמֵ֑נִי	76a	Please let your loyal love be for my comfort,
כְּאִמְרָתְךָ֥ לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃	76b	according to your promise to your servant.
יְבֹא֣וּנִי רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ וְאֶחְיֶ֑ה	77a	Let your compassion come to me so that I will live,
כִּֽי־תוֹרָתְךָ֥ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	77b	because your teaching is my delight.
יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ זֵ֭דִים כִּי־שֶׁ֣קֶר עִוְּת֑וּנִי	78a	Let the arrogant be ashamed, because they have perverted me with lies.
אֲ֝נִ֗י אָשִׂ֥יחַ בְּפִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	78b	I meditate on your precepts.
יָשׁ֣וּבוּ לִ֣י יְרֵאֶ֑יךָ	79a	Let those who fear you return to me,
וְ֝יֹדְעֵ֗י עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	79b	even those who know your testimonies.
יְהִֽי־לִבִּ֣י תָמִ֣ים בְּחֻקֶּ֑יךָ	80a	Let my heart be blameless in your purposes,
לְ֝מַ֗עַן לֹ֣א אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃	80b	so that I will not be ashamed.
כָּלְתָ֣ה לִתְשׁוּעָתְךָ֣ נַפְשִׁ֑י	81a	My soul has wasted away for need of your salvation.
לִדְבָרְךָ֥ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	81b	I hope in your words.
כָּל֣וּ עֵ֭ינַי לְאִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	82a	My eyes pine for your promise,
לֵ֝אמֹ֗ר מָתַ֣י תְּנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃	82b	saying, "When will you comfort me?"
כִּי־הָיִ֣יתִי כְּנֹ֣אד בְּקִיט֑וֹר	83a	For I have become like a waterskin in smoke.
חֻ֝קֶּיךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	83b	I have not forgotten your purposes.
כַּ֭מָּה יְמֵ֣י עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ	84a	How many are the days of your servant?
מָתַ֣י תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה בְרֹדְפַ֥י מִשְׁפָּֽט׃	84b	When will you do justice on my persecutors?
כָּרֽוּ־לִ֤י זֵדִ֣ים שִׁיח֣וֹת	85a	Arrogant people have dug pitfalls for me,
אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹ֣א כְתוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	85b	those who are not in accordance with your teaching.
כָּל־מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אֱמוּנָ֑ה	86a	All your commands are faithful.
שֶׁ֣קֶר רְדָפ֑וּנִי עָזְרֵֽנִי׃	86b	They persecute me falsely. Help me!
כִּ֭מְעַט כִּלּ֣וּנִי בָאָ֑רֶץ	87a	They have almost finished me off in the earth.
וַ֝אֲנִ֗י לֹא־עָזַ֥בְתִּי פִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	87b	But I have not forsaken your precepts.
כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ חַיֵּ֑נִי	88a	Keep me alive according to your loyal love,
וְ֝אֶשְׁמְרָ֗ה עֵד֥וּת פִּֽיךָ׃	88b	so that I will keep the testimony of your mouth.
לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְ֭הוָה	89a	Forever, YHWH,
דְּבָֽרְךָ֥ נִצָּ֥ב בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃	89b	your word is standing firm in the heavens.
לְדֹ֣ר וָ֭דֹר אֱמֽוּנָתֶ֑ךָ	90a	Your faithfulness is to generation after generation.
כּוֹנַ֥נְתָּ אֶ֝֗רֶץ וַתַּעֲמֹֽד׃	90b	You established the earth and it stands firm.
לְֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ עָמְד֣וּ הַיּ֑וֹם	91a	They stand firm to your judgments today,
כִּ֖י הַכֹּ֣ל עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃	91b	because all things are your servants.
לוּלֵ֣י תוֹרָתְךָ֣ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָ֑י	92a	If your teaching were not my delight,
אָ֝בַ֗דְתִּי בְּעָנְיִֽי׃	92b	then I would have perished in my suffering.
לְעוֹלָם֮ לֹא־אֶשְׁכַּ֪ח פִּקּוּדֶ֗יךָ	93a	I will never forget your precepts,
כִּ֣י בָ֭ם חִיִּיתָֽנִי׃	93b	because by them you have kept me alive.
לְךָֽ־אֲ֭נִי הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי	94a	I am yours. Save me,
כִּ֖י פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ דָרָֽשְׁתִּי׃	94b	because I care about your precepts.
לִ֤י קִוּ֣וּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים לְאַבְּדֵ֑נִי	95a	Wicked people lie in wait for me to destroy me.
עֵדֹתֶ֥יךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָֽן׃	95b	I consider your testimonies.
לְכָל־תִּכְלָ֥ה רָאִ֣יתִי קֵ֑ץ	96a	I have seen a limit to all perfection.
רְחָבָ֖ה מִצְוָתְךָ֣ מְאֹֽד׃	96b	Your command is very broad.
מָה־אָהַ֥בְתִּי תוֹרָתֶ֑ךָ	97a	How I love your teaching!
כָּל־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם הִ֣יא שִׂיחָתִֽי׃	97b	It is my meditation all day.
*מֵ֭אֹ֣יְבַי תְּחַכְּמֵ֣נִי *מִצְוָתֶךָ	98a	Your commands make me wiser than my enemies,
כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם הִיא־לִֽי׃	98b	because it is forever mine.
מִכָּל־מְלַמְּדַ֥י הִשְׂכַּ֑לְתִּי	99a	I have more understanding than all my teachers,
כִּ֤י עֵדְוֺתֶ֖יךָ שִׂ֣יחָה לִּֽי׃	99b	because your testimonies are a meditation for me.
מִזְּקֵנִ֣ים אֶתְבּוֹנָ֑ן	100a	I have more insight than the elders,
כִּ֖י פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃	100b	because I keep your precepts.
מִכָּל־אֹ֣רַח רָ֭ע כָּלִ֣אתִי רַגְלָ֑י	101a	I hold back my feet from every evil way,
לְמַ֥עַן אֶשְׁמֹ֥ר דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃	101b	so that I will keep your words.
מִמִּשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ לֹא־נָטִ֑יתִי	102a	I have not turned aside from your judgments,
כִּֽי־אַתָּ֥ה הוֹרֵתָֽנִי׃	102b	because you yourself have taught me.
מַה־נִּמְלְצ֣וּ לְ֭חִכִּי אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	103a	How sweet are your promises to my palate,
מִ֝דְּבַ֗שׁ לְפִֽי׃	103b	more than honey to my mouth!
מִפִּקּוּדֶ֣יךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָ֑ן	104a	From your precepts I get insight.
עַל־כֵּ֓ן שָׂנֵ֥אתִי כָּל־אֹ֖רַח שָׁ֣קֶר׃	104b	For this reason I hate every false way.
נֵר־לְרַגְלִ֣י דְבָרֶ֑ךָ	105a	Your word is a lamp to my foot
וְ֝א֗וֹר לִנְתִיבָתִֽי׃	105b	and a light to my path.
נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי וָאֲקַיֵּ֑מָה	106a	I have sworn and I will confirm,
לִשְׁמֹ֬ר מִשְׁפְּטֵ֣י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	106b	to keep your righteous rules.
נַ֭עֲנֵיתִי עַד־מְאֹ֑ד	107a	I have been greatly afflicted.
יְ֝הוָ֗ה חַיֵּ֥נִי כִדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	107b	YHWH, keep me alive according to your word!
נִדְב֣וֹת פִּ֭י רְצֵה־נָ֣א יְהוָ֑ה	108a	Please accept the free-will offerings of my mouth, YHWH,
וּמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	108b	and teach me your judgments.
נַפְשִׁ֣י בְכַפִּ֣י תָמִ֑יד	109a	My life is in my palm always,
וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ֥ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	109b	but I have not forgotten your teaching.
נָֽתְנ֬וּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים פַּ֣ח לִ֑י	110a	Wicked people have set a snare for me,
וּ֝מִפִּקּוּדֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א תָעִֽיתִי׃	110b	but I have not strayed from your precepts.
נָחַ֣לְתִּי עֵדְוֺתֶ֣יךָ לְעוֹלָ֑ם	111a	I have inherited your testimonies forever,
כִּֽי־שְׂשׂ֖וֹן לִבִּ֣י הֵֽמָּה׃	111b	because they are the joy of my heart.
נָטִ֣יתִי לִ֭בִּי לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת חֻקֶּ֑יךָ	112a	I have inclined my heart to do your purposes
לְעוֹלָ֥ם עֵֽקֶב׃	112b	forever, to the end.
סֵעֲפִ֣ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי	113a	I hate those who are double-minded,
וְתוֹרָתְךָ֥ אָהָֽבְתִּי׃	113b	but I love your teaching.
סִתְרִ֣י וּמָגִנִּ֣י אָ֑תָּה	114a	You are my hiding place and my shield.
לִדְבָרְךָ֥ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	114b	I hope in your word.
סֽוּרוּ־מִמֶּ֥נִּי מְרֵעִ֑ים	115a	Turn away from me, you evil doers,
וְ֝אֶצְּרָ֗ה מִצְוֺ֥ת אֱלֹהָֽי׃	115b	so that I will keep the commands of my God!
סָמְכֵ֣נִי כְאִמְרָתְךָ֣ וְאֶחְיֶ֑ה	116a	Sustain me according to your promise, so that I will live,
וְאַל־תְּבִישֵׁ֥נִי מִשִּׂבְרִֽי׃	116b	and do not let me be ashamed of my expectation.
סְעָדֵ֥נִי וְאִוָּשֵׁ֑עָה	117a	Support me so that I will be saved,
וְאֶשְׁעָ֖ה בְחֻקֶּ֣יךָ תָמִֽיד׃	117b	and I will always have regard for your purposes.
סָלִ֤יתָ כָּל־שׁוֹגִ֣ים מֵחֻקֶּ֑יךָ	118a	You have rejected all who stray from your purposes,
כִּי־שֶׁ֝֗קֶר תַּרְמִיתָֽם׃	118b	because their deceit is false.
סִגִ֗ים *חָשַׁבְתָּ* כָל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָ֑רֶץ	119a	You put an end to all the wicked of the earth like dross.
עַל־כֵּ֓ן אָהַ֥בְתִּי עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	119b	For this reason I love your testimonies.
סָמַ֣ר מִפַּחְדְּךָ֣ בְשָׂרִ֑י	120a	My flesh trembles from your dread,
וּֽמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ יָרֵֽאתִי׃	120b	and I am afraid of your judgments.
עָ֭שִׂיתִי מִשְׁפָּ֣ט וָצֶ֑דֶק	121a	I have done what is just and right.
בַּֽל־תַּ֝נִּיחֵ֗נִי לְעֹשְׁקָֽי׃	121b	Do not abandon me to my oppressors.
עֲרֹ֣ב עַבְדְּךָ֣ לְט֑וֹב	122a	Guarantee your servant for good.
אַל־יַעַשְׁקֻ֥נִי זֵדִֽים׃	122b	Let not the arrogant oppress me.
עֵינַ֣י כָּל֣וּ לִֽישׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ	123a	My eyes pine for your salvation
וּלְאִמְרַ֖ת צִדְקֶּֽךָ׃	123b	and for your righteous promise.
עֲשֵֽׂה עִם־עַבְדְּךָ֣ כְחַסְדֶּ֑ךָ	124a	Deal with your servant according to your loyal love,
וְ֝חֻקֶּ֗יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	124b	and teach me your purposes.
עַבְדְּךָ֣ אָ֭נִי הֲבִינֵ֑נִי	125a	I am your servant. Give me understanding,
וְאֵדְעָ֥ה עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	125b	so that I will know your testimonies.
עֵ֭ת לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת לַיהוָ֑ה	126a	It is time for YHWH to act.
הֵפֵ֥רוּ תּ֝וֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	126b	They have broken your teaching.
עַל־כֵּ֓ן אָהַ֥בְתִּי מִצְוֺתֶ֗יךָ	127a	For this reason I love your commands
מִזָּהָ֥ב וּמִפָּֽז׃	127b	more than gold, even pure gold.
עַל־כֵּ֤ן ׀ כָּל־*פִּקּוּדֶיךָ* יִשָּׁ֑רְתִּי	128a	For this reason I consider all your precepts to be right.
כָּל־אֹ֖רַח שֶׁ֣קֶר שָׂנֵֽאתִי׃	128b	I hate every false way.
פְּלָא֤וֹת ׀ עֵדְוֺתֶ֗יךָ	129a	Your testimonies are wonderful.
עַל־כֵּ֬ן נְצָרָ֬תַּם נַפְשִֽׁי׃	129b	For this reason my soul keeps them.
פֵּ֤תַח דְּבָרֶ֥יךָ יָאִ֗יר	130a	The opening of your words gives light.
מֵבִ֥ין פְּתָיִֽם׃	130b	It gives understanding to the simple.
פִּֽי־פָ֭עַרְתִּי וָאֶשְׁאָ֑פָה	131a	I opened my mouth wide and I panted,
כִּ֖י לְמִצְוֺתֶ֣יךָ יָאָֽבְתִּי׃	131b	because I longed for your commands.
פְּנֵה־אֵלַ֥י וְחָנֵּ֑נִי	132a	Turn to me and be gracious to me,
כְּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט לְאֹהֲבֵ֣י שְׁמֶֽךָ׃	132b	according to your rule for those who love your name.
פְּמֵיכֶ֥נִי בְאִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	133a	Establish my steps by your promise,
וְֽאַל־תַּשְׁלֶט־בִּ֖י כָּל־אָֽוֶן׃	133b	and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
פְּדֵ֣נִי מֵעֹ֣שֶׁק אָדָ֑ם	134a	Redeem me from the oppression of man,
וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֥ה פִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	134b	so that I will keep your precepts.
פָּנֶ֤יךָ הָאֵ֣ר בְּעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ	135a	Let your face shine on your servant,
וְלַמְּדֵ֖נִי אֶת־חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	135b	and teach me your purposes.
פַּלְגֵי־מַ֭יִם יָרְד֣וּ עֵינָ֑י	136a	Streams of water run down from my eyes,
עַ֝֗ל לֹא־שָׁמְר֥וּ תוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	136b	because they have not kept your teaching.
צַדִּ֣יק אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה	137a	You are righteous, YHWH,
וְ֝יָשָׁ֗ר *מִשְׁפָּטֶךָ*׃	137b	and your judgments are upright.
צִוִּ֤יתָ צֶ֨דֶק ׀ עֵדֹתֶ֗יךָ	138a	You commanded your testimonies as righteousness
וֶאֱמוּנָ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃	138b	and with much faithfulness.
צִמְּתַ֥תְנִי קִנְאָתִ֑י	139a	My zeal has consumed me,
כִּֽי־שָׁכְח֖וּ דְבָרֶ֣יךָ צָרָֽי׃	139b	because my adversaries have forgotten your words.
צְרוּפָ֖ה אִמְרָתְךָ֥ מְאֹ֗ד	140a	Your promise is very refined,
וְעַבְדְּךָ֥ אֲהֵבָֽהּ׃	140b	and your servant loves it.
צָעִ֣יר אָנֹכִ֣י וְנִבְזֶ֑ה	141a	I am young and despised,
פִּ֝קֻּדֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	141b	but I have not forgotten your precepts.
צִדְקָתְךָ֣ צֶ֣דֶק לְעוֹלָ֑ם	142a	Your righteousness is eternal righteousness,
וְתֽוֹרָתְךָ֥ אֱמֶֽת׃	142b	and your teaching is truth.
צַר־וּמָצ֥וֹק מְצָא֑וּנִי	143a	Distress and anguish have found me.
מִ֝צְוֺתֶ֗יךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	143b	Your commands are my delight.
צֶ֖דֶק עֵדְוֺתֶ֥יךָ לְעוֹלָ֗ם	144a	Your testimonies are righteousness forever.
הֲבִינֵ֥נִי וְאֶחְיֶֽה׃	144b	Give me understanding, so that I will live.
קָרָ֣אתִי בְכָל־לֵ֣ב עֲנֵ֑נִי	145a	I called with a whole heart. Answer me,
יְ֝הוָ֗ה חֻקֶּ֥יךָ אֶשְׁמֹֽרָה׃	145b	YHWH, I will keep your purposes.
קָרָאתִ֣יךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי	146a	I call on you. Save me,
וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֖ה עֵדֹתֶ֣יךָ׃	146b	so that I will keep your testimonies.
קִדַּ֖מְתִּי בַנֶּ֣שֶׁף וָאֲשַׁוֵּ֑עָה	147a	I rise before dawn and cry aloud.
לִדְבָרֶ֖יךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	147b	I hope in your words.
קִדְּמ֣וּ עֵ֭ינַי אַשְׁמֻר֑וֹת	148a	My eyes anticipate the night watches,
לָשִׂ֥יחַ בְּ֝אִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃	148b	to meditate on your promise.
קוֹלִ֣י שִׁמְעָ֣ה כְחַסְדֶּ֑ךָ	149a	Hear my voice according to your loyal love.
יְ֝הוָ֗ה כְּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥ךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	149b	YHWH, keep me alive according to your judgment!
קָרְב֣וּ רֹדְפֵ֣י זִמָּ֑ה	150a	My wanton persecutors have drawn near.
מִתּֽוֹרָתְךָ֥ רָחָֽקוּ׃	150b	They are far from your teaching.
קָר֣וֹב אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה	151a	You are near, YHWH,
וְֽכָל־מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אֱמֶֽת׃	151b	and all your commands are truth.
קֶ֣דֶם יָ֭דַעְתִּי מֵעֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ	152a	Long ago I knew from your testimonies
כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְסַדְתָּֽם׃	152b	that you have founded them forever.
רְאֵֽה־עָנְיִ֥י וְחַלְּצֵ֑נִי	153a	Look on my suffering and deliver me,
כִּֽי־ת֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	153b	because I have not forgotten your teaching.
רִיבָ֣ה רִ֭יבִי וּגְאָלֵ֑נִי	154a	Plead my case and redeem me.
לְאִמְרָתְךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	154b	Keep me alive according to your promise.
רָח֣וֹק מֵרְשָׁעִ֣ים יְשׁוּעָ֑ה	155a	Salvation is far from wicked people,
כִּ֖י חֻקֶּ֥יךָ לֹא דָרָֽשׁוּ׃	155b	because they do not care about your purposes.
רַחֲמֶ֖יךָ רַבִּ֥ים יְהוָ֑ה	156a	Your acts of compassion are many, YHWH.
כְּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	156b	Keep me alive according to your judgments.
רַבִּ֣ים רֹ֭דְפַי וְצָרָ֑י	157a	Many are my persecutors and adversaries.
מֵ֝עֵדְוֺתֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א נָטִֽיתִי׃	157b	I have not turned aside from your testimonies.
רָאִ֣יתִי בֹגְדִ֣ים וָאֶתְקֹטָ֑ט	158a	I see traitors and I loathe them,
אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִ֝מְרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁמָֽרוּ׃	158b	because they do not keep your promise.
רְאֵ֤ה ׀ כִּֽי־פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ אָהָ֑בְתִּי	159a	Look, because I love your precepts.
יְ֝הוָ֗ה בְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	159b	YHWH, keep me alive by your loyal love!
רֹאשׁ־דְּבָרְךָ֥ אֱמֶ֑ת	160a	The sum of your word is truth,
וּ֝לְעוֹלָ֗ם כָּל־מִשְׁפַּ֥ט צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	160b	and all your righteous rules are eternal.
שָׂ֭רִים רְדָפ֣וּנִי חִנָּ֑ם	161a	Leaders persecute me for no reason,
וּ֝מִדְּבָרְךָ֗ פָּחַ֣ד לִבִּֽי׃	161b	but my heart fears your word.
שָׂ֣שׂ אָנֹכִ֣י עַל־אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ	162a	I rejoice over your promise
כְּמוֹצֵ֖א שָׁלָ֥ל רָֽב׃	162b	as one who finds great spoil.
שֶׁ֣קֶר שָׂ֭נֵאתִי וָאֲתַעֵ֑בָה	163a	I hate and detest lies.
תּוֹרָתְךָ֥ אָהָֽבְתִּי׃	163b	I love your teaching.
שֶׁ֣בַע בַּ֭יּוֹם הִלַּלְתִּ֑יךָ	164a	Seven times a day I praise you
עַ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵ֣י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	164b	for your righteous rules.
שָׁל֣וֹם רָ֭ב לְאֹהֲבֵ֣י תוֹרָתֶ֑ךָ	165a	Great peace belongs to those who love your teaching.
וְאֵֽין־לָ֥מוֹ מִכְשֽׁוֹל׃	165b	And there is no stumbling block for them.
שִׂבַּ֣רְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה	166a	I have hoped for your salvation, YHWH,
וּ֝מִצְוֺתֶ֗יךָ עָשִֽׂיתִי׃	166b	and I have done your commands.
שָֽׁמְרָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֣י עֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ	167a	My life has kept your testimonies,
וָאֹהֲבֵ֥ם מְאֹֽד׃	167b	and I love them very much.
שָׁמַרְתִּי֮ פִּקּוּדֶ֪יךָ וְעֵדֹתֶ֗יךָ	168a	I have kept your precepts and your testimonies,
כִּ֣י כָל־דְּרָכַ֥י נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃	168b	because all my ways are before you.
תִּקְרַ֤ב רִנָּתִ֣י לְפָנֶ֣יךָ יְהוָ֑ה	169a	Let my cry come near before you, YHWH.
כִּדְבָרְךָ֥ הֲבִינֵֽנִי׃	169b	Give me understanding according to your word!
תָּב֣וֹא תְחִנָּתִ֣י לְפָנֶ֑יךָ	170a	Let my plea come before you.
כְּאִמְרָתְךָ֥ הַצִּילֵֽנִי׃	170b	Deliver me according to your promise!
תִּבַּ֥עְנָה שְׂפָתַ֣י תְּהִלָּ֑ה	171a	Let my lips pour out praise,
כִּ֣י תְלַמְּדֵ֖נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	171b	for you teach me your purposes.
תַּ֤עַן לְשׁוֹנִ֨י ׀ אִמְרָתֶ֗ךָ	172a	Let my tongue sing aloud your promise,
כִּ֖י כָל־מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ צֶֽדֶק׃	172b	because all your commands are righteousness.
תְּהִֽי־יָדְךָ֥ לְעָזְרֵ֑נִי	173a	Let your hand be for my help,
כִּ֖י פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ בָחָֽרְתִּי׃	173b	because I have chosen your precepts.
תָּאַ֣בְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה	174a	I long for your salvation, YHWH,
וְ֝תוֹרָתְךָ֗ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	174b	and your teaching is my delight.
תְּחִֽי־נַפְשִׁ֥י וּתְהַלְלֶ֑ךָּ	175a	Let my soul live so that it will praise you,
וּמִשְׁפָּטֶ֖ךָ יַעַזְרֻֽנִי׃	175b	and let your judgments help me.
תָּ֘עִ֤יתִי כְּשֶׂ֣ה אֹבֵ֣ד בַּקֵּ֣שׁ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ	176a	I stray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant,
כִּ֖י מִצְוֺתֶ֣יךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	176b	because I have not forgotten your commands.
