  • The oracle is addressed to my lord. The lamed preposition indicates the addressee. [1]
  • YHWH invites the king to sit at my right side (שֵׁב לִימִינִי). The preposition "at" is used to translate the lamed preposition, which here indicates orientation on a horizontal axis.[2]
