YHWH is clothed [with majesty]; he is armed with strength.
What’s more: the world remains stable without moving.
2. Your throne has been stable from long ago.
You have existed from eternity.
3. The seas have lifted up [their noise], YHWH,
the seas have lifted up their noise;
the seas would continually lift up their crushing (waves).
4. More than the sounds of many waters
– the waves of the sea are majestic! –
YHWH is majestic in the high place.
5. Your decrees are entirely trustworthy.
Holiness is fitting for your house,
YHWH, forever.
